These GP-35 powered locomotives are painted red and aluminum with white lettering and stripes. The logo on the nose is red and black. They were built in 1963 as part of EMD order number 7668 for the CB&Q railroad. They wore these numbers and paint schemes until the Burlington Northern renumbered and repainted them after the merger in 1970
