These FP9 locomotives are decorated for VIA with a dark blue body, a yellow nose, a black roof, and the yellow VIA logo on the side. The B units are blue with two yellow stripes. Each model comes equipped with wire handrails, etched metal grilles, and Kadee® couplers. The smooth drive is available either as DCC ready with the 8 pin NMRA compatible socket or with a QSI sound system installed that will work on DC or DCC.
