This 50’ box car with plug and sliding door and no roofwalk is painted orange with black ends and aluminum roof. It is lettered in black. This box car was built in June 1968, serviced in September 1977 and runs on Roller Bearing trucks. It has a combination eight-foot sliding door and seven-foot auxiliary plug door. Most of D&RGW’s combination door cars were used in general service. The 15-foot total opening also made them adaptable for hauling wallboard and forest products.
