Flexi-Vans moved bulk mail and express shipments into the 1960's on SnataFe's Grand Canyon and Fast Mail , Milwaulkee Road's Hiawatha, Ic's Panama Limited, NYC's Wolverine and others.
The cars were usually between the loco's and expres/bagage cars, or behind the last car to facilitate en-route switching. Most of these shipments ended in 1967 when the Post Office cancelled railroad contracts.
