Proto 2000 - RTR 52' 6" Drop End Gondola - PG&E - BROWN 9208 (SKU 8-433-101938)

LIMITED TO 50 ASSORTMENTS - First Built in 1940 with a 70-ton capacity, the mill gon was originnally designed to haul structural steel. Railroads soon discovered the versatility of this car. With it's dropped ends flat, the car could be loaded with items exeeding it's length. These multi-purpose gondolas were used to haul anything a fixed-end gondola could haul: steel, machinery, pipes, lumber, automobile frames and even coal. The prototype was found throughout the country whereever there was a need to haul long items. *Important Discalimer* - "Some Canadian roads had flat cars that were somewhat different that the flat cars being offered here. The following disclaimer will be each box. "These flat cars may not be protoypical in every detail for every road, but they are the closest we have seen that are run on Canadian rails. We have elected to paint and decorate them prototypically correct" Part # 8-433-101935 Rd# 9202 Part # 8-433-101936 Rd# 9204 Part # 8-433-101937 Rd# 9206 Part # 8-433-101938 Rd# 9208 Part # 8-433-101939 Rd# 9210 Part # 8-433-101940 Rd# 9212
