This 50' box car with single Youngstown door and no roofwalk is painted synthetic red with large "Union Pacific" letters and "Ship and Travel The Automated Rail Way" slogan and runs on red Bettendorf trucks. The Omaha shops were kept busy in 1968 rebuilding existing freight cars. Improvements included a 10 ft. door. Road number series 507400-507416 class B-50-60 are equipped with 9 belt DF-2 Loaders. Road number 507406 was re-capitalized as new equipment.
