We encourage all of are customers in the area to stop by the show and take a look. You never know what you might see there. This clinic will provide you with the basics of building scenery for your model railroad, scale model dioramas and/or war gaming. Topics to be covered are: what materials and tools are needed and the process of making terrain, ground cover, trees, rock and water effects. In addition new innovations in terrain and scenery construction material will be presented.

"How to Buy a Model Train Starter Kit"
If you are interested in getting into model railroading, then purchasing a model train starter kit is the best way to get you going. This workshop will discuss the following topics:

what to look for in a good starter kit, and
an insight into where to go afterwards.

"Track Basics"
This workshop will discuss various topics related to track laying and reliable running, layout planning, cost of tracks, layout styles, advantages/disadvantages of flex track and sectional track and common pitfalls to avoid. There will be a focus on HO scale track and some N scale track. However this workshop is applicable to all scales.

A note to customers: these are our first production samples, there are aspects of the car that need to be corrected. Please don't e mail us about any perceived needed improvements. i.e. the ladders rungs on the end of the car need to be extended to the ladders, and should not get narrow as they meet the sill. We know.
