"MU" mP54 Units... Long Island Railroad

For the Long Island Railroad Con-Cor will be offering three car bodies (Coach, Baggage-Mail and Combine ) cars in 2 versions:

• Powered with Roof Top Headlights at each end.
• Non-Powered with Roof Top Headlights at each end

Note to Long Island Fans. We are modeling the prototype Pennsylvania MU cars as sold off to the Long Island. (We are also told the Long Island at one point also build some new equipment using PRR Plans.) So the only changes for the Long Island versions are the paint schemes and addition of the non-functioning 3rd rail power shoes. This is not tooling "unique" to different Long Island prototypes other than what the PRR designated as MUmP54.
