These locomotives have proved to be very popular both in the real world, and the modeling world. PWRS has a few of these left in stock, and we have just come across a small number of additional units available. In many cases, these were thought to be sold out and some modelers previously were unable to get them. There are limited numbers of all units listed below, so orders are strictly first come, first served. Second chances don't come around that often, so don't miss this one.

The Canadian National Railway acquired 123 of the SD40-2W locomotives, numbered 5241-5363. The Intermountain Railway Co. model is manufactured with the 4-window safety cab, the snow shields over the air inlets, and the distinctive stairwells and handrails.
