Update as of June 21st 2016:

Dear Customers:  We talked to Trueline Trains this morning and we were reminded the Canadian National Wooden Tranfer Cabooses are scheduled to be shipped next from the factory in China and should be here late August / early September 2016. All quantities are locked in, and inventory is tight.

We know we have many new cutomers who were not clients of PWRS when these were announced. So if you want an accurate Canadian National Wooden Caboose get your request in now. Trueline has also recently added updated images of the cabooses.

If you model Canadian National in the 1930s to 1960s these are a must have. This is the fourth time Trueline has made Wooden Cabooses and we are lways being asked by customers who model that era "its too bad there aren't any proper cabooses". So now you have a final chance to get proper Cabooses.

Dear HO Scale Customers, we realize many of you have been asking [us] when specific Trueline Trains items will be [released]. We talked to Darren @ Trueline Trains yesterday and he has given us an updated schedule for the delivery of the next 5 projects. The Wooden Cabooses will arrive at Trueline Trains in Jan 2016.

Trueline Trains apologized for the delays, but in order to produce product properly it sometimes takes longer than anticipated. [several other items as well, such as the sudden drop of the US dollar, non-paying customers and delays in china]
    We should also point out (without going into details) that Darren, the owner over at Trueline Trains has had other personal and family related issues to deal with,  which are of greater importance than model trains. I'm sure many of our customers realize family and health come first.   This is not to forego many business obstacles that have been presented over the last 2 years.  Darren is very open about most of this and has welcomed people to contact him by email ([email protected]) or phone 905-738-6556 if they have any further questions.

Newly Revised Tooling and New Schedules...
  

The original is back, only better than ever! With the first few runs of the CN cabooses, the windows were the incorrect shape. Based on the SQUARE shape of the CP model, the CN models were actually rectangular. TrueLine Trains has revised the tooling to reflect this along with adding a new CN style Van (that's Canadian for Caboose). The CN WOOD TRANSFER van features new end ladders, new tool box, roof and of course the new and corrected window shapes. Other features include TLT Tru-Mate couplers, air hoses and TLT trucks and axles.
