Earlier this year, PWRS released our exclusive BC Rail 100th Anniversary Micro-Trains N Scale BC Rail 4427 cu. ft. 3 Bay Covered Hopper 4-Pack.

We also produced a special 5th car to go along with the 4-Pack. The 5th car was made for the PGE/BCR Modellers group in the area as a fundraiser for the organization. It featured special PGE 100 graphics and a unique road number.

Both the 4-Pack and the 5th car proved to be very popular. Unfortunately there were not enough available for everyone when they came out.

Our custom run PWRS Exclusive Micro-Trains Special Run products are limited production runs and once the production numbers are set, they cannot be increased. This is why it is vital that if a modeler is interested in them, they reserve them before reservations are due. Generally when reservations close, there are only a handful of models still available for order, and these quickly go when the products come in.

As many BC Rail fans are aware, Micro-Trains will be bringing out new Runner Pack for BC Rail in March of 2014. This time around they are producing a 50 ft Box Car 4-Pack in the late Green with Dogwood Logo scheme that is so popular with BC Rail fans. Whenever these cars have been produced in the past, they have always sold out and we expect the same for this Runner Pack.

Reservations for the Runner Pack have officially closed, but Micro Trains is holding them open for PWRS customers for an additional 14 days. So, if you have not ordered yours yet, you still have time.

While the Runner Pack is not a PWRS Exclusive, we have arranged to have a special 5th BC Rail Box Car made and released at the same time. This car is again a fundraiser for the PGE/BCR Modelling group, but is also open to all of our customers. It features special PGE/BCR Modeler graphics, as well as a unique road number. 

Sales of the special 5th car are limited to one copy per 4-Pack ordered. Only modelers who have ordered or order the Runner Pack of BC Rail cars will be allowed to purchase the special 5th car.

All profits from the 5th car go towards the PGE/BCR Modelers group.

Production of this car is limited to orders received when reservation are closed. Orders placed after reservations have closed will not be filled.
