Dear Customers,

We are preparing to receive our HO Scale coal gondola cars. To do this, we will first mark the purchase order for these cars as received; that will put the cars into stock. We don’t have the exact date we’ll have them in hand, but we need to get started now, and we expect the container in before the end of September.

That means that every customer who has PORTERS will see these cars show up in their “Products In Stock, Shipping Soon”. But these cars will not be ready for shipping when they first arrive. Before we can ship the cars, we must do an inventory check, decide how each order will be handled, invoice each order and sometimes contact customers, and otherwise “process” the orders.

Therefore, please do not click “ship my goodie box” (or call) expecting to have these cars charged and shipped with your goodie box immediately. Any goodie box request for a customer who has these cars in stock will automatically be turned over to customer service to handle and that may add weeks to the shipment.

We will work as fast as we can, but there are thousands of orders to process, in addition to the regular work we do each day on other manufacturers and orders. Realistically speaking, we think it will be Oct 1-30 before we can really ship them all.  Please be patient.
