These covers are a cast resin product, made for use on standard gondolas of the 53 foot length and 52 foot 6 inch length.

The prototype covers were originally produced for Canadian Pacific (CP) and Canadian National (CN to help stop the loss of copper concentrate from the gondolas during shipping.

Since then they have been produced where loss of various mineral products is a concern and are used on a number of other roads both in Canada and the USA, mainly CN, CP, BC Rail and BNSF.

These are available in two versions to cover most of your gondola needs. They come unpainted so that you can paint and weather them to match your rolling stock.
