Our main factory instituted an across-the-board 10% price increase on all shipments starting August 1, 2008. This increase will affect everything we take delivery of despite the fact that prices were contracted for earlier. They will also increase our cost another 10% effective January 1, 2009. I had no choice but to increase some of our prices due to this unscheduled cost increase. This includes previously announced items that had prices set. Where we had to make increases, they are less than 10%. In addition, some items are now listed with price TBA as we re-evaluate them.

There are a couple of corrections to recent announcements. First, the CSX Maxi-Stack III second run item numbers should be 210313 and 210314. They were listed as "20" series by mistake. The Maxi III was our 21st body style so it begins with 21. The announcement last month of a Hapag-Lloyd Dual Logo Panel Container 5-Pack was a re-run based on a 2-pack released by Burbank. According to our research, the number series used is for 40' Hi-Cube containers. We were not able to substantiate the existence of containers matching our standard height container. We have cancelled item #505061 and replaced it with item #520161, a Hapag-Lloyd 40' Hi-Cube Corrugated Container 5-Pack.

We have also cancelled the Pacer Stacktrain 53' Corrugated Container 2-Packs, #13111. We could not produce them at a reasonable cost even before the price increase. We are evaluating a 5-pack instead since there are some cost savings in the larger package.

All the intermodal car "Set #2" item numbers have been changed to end in "02" instead of "11" and Triple-57 TTX "Set #3" has been changed to 370103 from 370121.
