The SD70ACe is the latest in the line of EMD's "70" locomotives, an evolution of the SD70MAC, although its radiator design harkens more to that of the SD80/90 body. The SD70ACe has been designed to fit the latest EPA standards and regulations, and sports 4300 horsepower.

This new run of N Scale SD70ACe locomotives will be retooled with Norfolk Southern specific details (not reflected in the pre-production lineart images above), including new isolated "comfort cab" and revised roof details. They will also haveclear and bright light-piping through untinted lenses for both front and rear directional lighting and will be available at release in both DC (analog) and DCC equipped variations!
