Well here is the formal announcement from Red Caboose for the new Pacific Car and Foundry R-70-15 "As Built" HO Mechanical Refrogerator Cars in Pacific Fruit Express.

There will be two grups of cars released:

The first group will be the R-70-15, 57 ft Pacific Fruit Express Mechanical Reefer with Hydra-Cushion Underframe, with 12 road numbers.

The second group will be the R-70-15, 57 ft Pacific Fruit Express Mechanical Reefer with Keystone Underframe, with 12 road numbers.

Red Caboose will be giving there final numbers to be produced to China around July 10, so if you want to order, make sure you get it done now! Recent shipments coming to Red Caboose from China are typically 95% + pre-sold out. They are not making stock for the shelf. If you snooze - you loose. We give you this information not to annoy but to truthfully inform you of the need to order on time if you don't want to be disapointed.

We can also tell you there will be a list of all the car features up on our web site in a few days, but the most exciting thing about these cars is metal parts they are using on the grill oppenings for the refrigorator opening at the ends of the side panels of the car!
