Dear HO Modelers, we have been waiting pataintely for Canadian Hobbycraft to make more information available re the much anticipated release of the Canadian National Railway 4-8-4 U-2-g Sound Equipped "HO" Scale Platinum Series Locomotive.

Well here are some new details for you. And look below for an additional important announcement from Pacific Western Rail re these Locomotives.

Now some special terms will be occuring for all of our customers who order these Steam Locomotives.

The MSRP is $1,199.95 CDN

Hobbycraft has informed us there will be only 1 production run of this model, at 1,000 units (100 each road number).  Hobbycraft said they will not be re-run.  So this should be truly a fantastic model as well as a highly collectable item.

We have been told by Hobbycraft the plans for this model are highly detailed and some of the CAD pictures for this model will be found below.

According to Hobbycraft they are massively over-reserved on this model. But they want to make sure all those who seriously want one should get first preference over those who are sitting on the fence. So we have arranged with Hobbycraft to produce a gauranteed order list of customers who will have priority. If you want to be on the Guaranteed list you need to Reserve now with a $150 deposit. 

Beacuse of the high retail cost and the limited nature of the run (Hobbycraft is only making a total of 100 of each road number), we at Pacific Western Rail will be selling these for $899.95 CDN!

There are some terms and conditions to receive this price. They are as follows;

- You also can be assured our price of $899.95 will not be undersold! We will beat or match any advertized price.

- We will be notified by Hobbycraft Canada when the models are being shipped from Ontario.  At that point, payment on the balance will be expected.

- We will not allow customers to buy these over time at this special price. However we will make exceptions for all retired and active duty Canadian and US Forces personnel.

- The payment can be made by Visa/Mastercard.  The deposits on these CNR 4-8-4's can not be transferred or refunded.

- We will give all customers 30 days to fulfil their obligations, after that we reserve the right to keep the deposit and cancel the reservation.
