Dear N Scale Customers. We have been taking pre-orders for the new 4000 cu ft Canadian Coal / Sulphur Gonds for some time now. We have submitted final artwork to China. Last week just as we were about to close-off the final artwork, two of our customers (one of which who currently works at CN) managed to get us pictures of the CN version of the Brown Double Rotary Cars.

These were hard to get, but we finally have them. So you will see below images of the actual car. We will be doing 2 road numbers in CN.

We will need to send the final qty to China in about 3-4 weeks. So we know many of you who model CN, have asked about a Double Rotary to be made available, so here is your chance. Please get your dibs in now!

No rotary coal car unit train is complete without at least one double rotary car, and so it is with Canadian National unit coal trains. After additional research, we have confirmed the scheme and road numbers for the correct prototype for Canadian National. We will release two road numbers in this release. If you have ordered other 4000cf coal gondolas for Canadian National, you will need at least one of these. Reserve yours to to avoid unforeseen circumstances.

17 side posts; 2 ribs on the end with no gusset plates, wide radius corners on the ends, double holes on the bolster/roping plate and the reservoir is mounted parallel to the car side and located between the 5th and 6th major side posts (type 1 underframe). Note how far below the underframe the brake rods hang - the rod connects to the truck below the axles.
