Announcing A Second Release
Of The
D&RGW Class C-19 in HOn3!
Several of these models include new tenders, and new road numbers and other details make them uniquely different from the previous release.
The first release of D&RGW C-19 class locomotives represented locomotives as they appeared from the mid-1920s through the early 1950s and featured the flared style tender body. This second release features include completely new tenders for four of the versions, new paint schemes and heralds, along with some fun new details. All are sold with Tsunami sound on board and all except the Painted, Unlettered versions may be ordered either weathered or non-weathered.
Blackstone Models is offering one road number available with the D&RGW Royal Gorge Route Herald (No. 342), two with the Flying Grande Herald (Nos. 345 and 346), and one with the RGS Rising Sun Herald (No. 40). D&RG No. 401 is offered with its late 1910s (teens) lettering and the No. 41 will feature the non-herald 1940-1941 era numbering.
There will be two Painted, Unlettered versions for the freelancer - one with a black boiler and one featuring an early 'Russian Iron' boiler (a beautiful bluish-grey color) and a diamond stack. This version, while not based on any D&RG prototype, is perfect for kitbashing or just adding some fun and variety to your fleet.
The second release includes:
