New HO Product Line Debuts
M.T.H. Electric Trains began promoting a series of less expensive products earlier this year in a new subline. This line, dubbed Ready-2-Rail, features rolling stock and locomotives from our Ready-to-Run starter set lineup in separately sold configurations. Rolling stock releases include well detailed freight cars with Kadee® couplers and opening doors. Diesel locomotives come outfitted in both DCC-Ready configurations as well as the full Proto-Sound 3.0 configuration. The Proto-Sound 3.0 equipped locomotives feature the same digital sound and DCC decoder package as that found in the more expensive HO locomotives.
Ready 2 Rail™ provides the superior quality and detailing you've come to expect from M.T.H. coupled with a competitive price point for the entry-level HO hobbyist. These cars offer the same construction and body detailing as their more expensive counterparts, but designed for the budget-minded model railroader. It's the perfect way to add to a Ready-To-Run set or to introduce someone new to the hobby.
