The F-7 was manufactured by the Electro-Motive division of GM (EMD) from 1949 to 1953. It was produced for 49 different railroads and went on to become EMD’s best selling carbody diesel. F-7’s continued in service until the 1970’s. This release features units painted for five different roads including both the Yellow & Red Warbonnet schemes for Santa Fe. Available units include F-7A’s, F-7B’s and AB sets. Each unit is available in both DCC with Sound and DCC Ready with Sound versions and feature many unit specific detials.
