WhiteRiver Productions - Two Great Releases About BC Rail - 1 Book & 1 DVD
Dear Customers, about four years ago Dale Sanders announced he would be publishing a book about the BC Rail. The book has been delayed and many customers have called repeatedly asking about the status of the book.
Suffice to say, there are a significant number of BC Rail Fans who have been waiting patiently for this book to be released.
Well the book is on its way. Dale Sanders, was fortunate enough to be granted special permission over the years to capture images of BC Rail trains from vantage points most of us would never have the opportunity to photograph.
The management of BC rail used many of Dale's images to grace the cover of annual general corporate reports and for promotional use i.e. corporate calenders. In many cases, aircraft were made available for his private use to capture images from vantage points the rest of us would only wish we could take.
So this hardcover book will be a must for any of you, regardless of scale, to grab for your personal reference collection.
Northern Light is an all-color portrait of one of North America’s most fascinating railways — BC Rail. With 303 full color photographs and 12 lavishly illustrated maps, this volume presents a retrospective of the entire BC Rail system during its 20-year life span between June 1984 and July 2004.
In the 224 pages of Northern Light may be found all the elements that made BC Rail so interesting. From its locomotives (including steam, diesel, and electric) to its unique Budd RDC passenger operations, BC Rail was a railway like no other.
