Dear N Scale Customers, we are attending the Springfield Model Railroad Show, Ma. Today while visiting the ExactRail booth, we were shown the test samples of the new N Scale 3267 cu ft Gondolas.

These cars were released in HO Scale on Dec 29th 2009, and sold out immediately. There were many customers who ordered these new Gonds in HO Scale and were unable to get them.

Normally most manufacturers announce product, and consumers and dealers have a period of time to pre-order quantities.

ExactRail informed us at the show today they will continue to announce product as it is ready to ship, and will not allow any period of pre-order, to insure customers who want cars are covered. While it is ExactRail job to set the policies and terms pertaining to how they wish to do business, we feel it is our responsibility to communicate to you, their policies.

So, tonight we have up-loaded all the information we have re the new N Scale 3267 cu ft Gondolas. We will begin to take orders now. The retail price has not been disclosed yet, but we expect it to be in the $18 to $24 US Dollar range.

We asked ExactRail if they could insure a certain minimum will be available, and unfortunately they will not be able to insure quantities to anyone.

Therefore, you may now order. We will do the best we can to fill all orders. We can not guarantee any order until ExactRail rail informs us of the quantity available.

We do know ExactRail set the production qty on these cars months ago and they were caught by surprise as to the demand in HO Scale. So we would expect a repeat performance re customers who will not be able to get the new cars.

We will fill orders on a first come - first serve basis. We do apologize for the situation, but ExactRail is reevaluating their qty being produced going forward.

Unfortunately orders in the pipeline can't be altered.

Also look for a second announcement for a different mold, a 65 ft CP Rail with Multi mark Gondola. Please do not be confused, they are different than the 3267 cu ft Canadian Pacific Gonds on this announcement. 

Below you will see the annoucement for the HO Scale cars. Please use it as a general document to explain the paint and decoration schemes. We will post the offical N Scale announcement and images when they become available.
