Athearn Announces 50' Youngstown Door Box Cars In 4 New Paint Schemes and Roads: UP, Canfor, MPL

 

 

    For you period modelers, these 50' Youngstown Door Box cars are in the 1970s-1990s which overlap nicely with the 40' Youngstown Door Box cars which are in the 1950s-1980s and in doing so, you intermix 50' with 40' for a non-uniform consist.  The 40' have 4 roads and colors while these also have 4 colors but with 3 roads, UP one of a kind, UP 3 numbers, Canfor and Missourie Pacific each with 3 road numbers.  Mix them up nicely and enjoy the box car freight train.
