What makes PWRS different? And why should you care?

As many of you know most manufacturers like Atlas, Walthers, and Athearn, pre-announce their products giving our customers time to pre-order. As many of you are aware ExactRail doesn't.

This can cause a problem if you are ordering from a store that does not use state of the art Personal Order, Relationship Tracking, Entry & Reporting software. Software we developed 5 years ago.

It is called "PORTERS".

1. We work very hard to get important new product information for you. We can’t tell you how we do it – but you can see the results – if you have a PORTERS account. On New Years Eve we stayed up late and entered in all the new informaton, to make sure our customers had timely knowledge about the new 3267 cu. ft. Gonds from ExactRail. 

2. We tell you all we know ASAP through either our regular email notice and Media announcements or with “other” info available exclusively through your PORTERS account (If you have one). We have just added more "other" items.

3. Once you place your PORTERS order, we work closely with our suppliers (manufactures directly or top distributors) to make sure you get what you order! All Customers who ordered 3267 cu. ft. Gonds received 100% fill on all SKU items for orders placed between Thursday Jan 1st and Monday Jan 4th 2010.

ExactRail is Sold Out!

Pacific Western Rail is not!

Now: today we received this email from ExactRail:

Dear Pacific Western Rail,

    The response for our Thrall 3267 gondola has been stunning. We turned on our product page last night Monday to accommodate demand, and our quantities were overwhelmed by the response. We understand that there are dealers who have anticipated this release, and for those orders which cannot be fulfilled, we apologize. We recognize that this is an inconvenience for many of you.

    We are rushing into production a second order of Thrall gondolas (with different road numbrs). In the interest of our dealers, we will break from our current practice and take pre-orders that will be honored. These items will be rushed into production and delivered as soon as possible.

    We appreciate our dealers very much. You have contributed significantly to the success of our products through our first year, and we recognize and appreciate it greatly. Please contact us with your orders and they will be included in this production.
