Atlas - GP40-2W CN
An Important Message for those Who Model Canadian National Post 1974
Dear HO Scale Customers:
As many of you are aware, Altas announced last Summer they were working on producing a GP40-2(W). This important CN engine, has been long over due, for the HO Scale Market. It should have been made by one of the major manufacturers, along time ago. Atlas will begin shipping these units soon.
Now, we have thousands of customers who model CN. We have also, pre-sold a large number of these important CN engines.

We want all of you who model CN to
carefully read this message:
We have tried to buy as much shelf stock as we could of this engine, but we are now getting down to the wire. We talked to a couple of our major Distributors on Thursday and Friday last week. Even though the engines are not here yet from Atlas (they will arrive soon), they are sold out (all units coming are allocated) at the Distribution Level.
When this happens before an item is released it usually is an indication of a looming shortage.
Last week, we committed to taking the last open inventory from Walthers on Friday. They are now sold out as well!
Because of the recession a number of distributors have been overly conservative with their orders for shelf stock. If you want any of these important CN engines with or with out DCC and Sound, now is the time to get an order in !!!
We have had a significant number of late orders in the past 10 days. So if you are sitting on the fence do not be upset when we let you know they are gone. Get your order in, now`!!!
