Dear Modelers:

     We found out this week that well known Rail Author Barrie Sanford, is going to release a new book titled, RAILWAY by the BAY 100 Years of Trains at White Rock, Crescent Beach and Ocean Park.

Well Barrie Sanford called us today. He is going to be doing a Book Signing for the National launch of his new book in White Rock at a book store on Saturday Oct 3rd 2009 in White Rock.

We informed Barrie, we thought it might be a great idea to do a separate book signing for the Model Train enthusiasts. So, Barrie Sanford has agreed to attend a second Book Signing at Pacific Western Rail on Saturday, at our warehouse in Surry, between 4:30 - 5:30 pm this weeken.

So come on in and meet Barrie, get your book autographed and have a drink and some food, with us.

     For any of our local customers, those of you who have visited the White Rock area, or those of you who model Great Northern, Burlington Northern, or BNSF, this will be a great book, and would make a great gift for a family member.
