165 Series “Moonlight” Red Type 3-Car Set (Hobby Center)
● Item Introduction
The 165 Series “Moonlight” debuted in 1987 for overnight rapid services between Shinjuku and Niigata. Modified from the standard 165 Series with reclining seats for long-distance overnight travel, the trains stood out with three distinctive liveries: green, brown and red.

- Specially decoratedmodel based on KATO’s (HO) 165 Series 800 Subseries 3-Car Set (3-527).
- “Moonlight” headmark included, “新カヌ” (Kaminuttari Depot) markings.
