Kato (Japan) is excited to announce the October 2026 Releases
Alpine Locomotive Ge4/4-Ⅱ”Revival Livery” (Green)
● Item Introduction
Today, the Rhaetian Railway is famous for its red trains, but green was once a familiar sight across the network. The preservation group “GRÜN & CHROM” is bringing this historic appearance back to life by restoring selected vehicles to their former liveries.
Ge 4/4-II No. 611 was the first locomotive to be restored, returning to service in green in 2023 to mark its 50th anniversary.

Details
- Current appearance with later rectangular lights & front jumper plugs in the historic green livery.
- Capable of hauling up to 12 RhB passenger cars on a 4% gradient.
- Detailed roof intake louvers, resistors & large snowplow.
- Front jumper plugs included as separate parts.
- Minimum radius: R150.
Specifications
Couplers: Glacier Express short couplers, replacement Arnold couplers are included.
Other:
- All three headlights lit (warm-white LEDs).

RhB Passenger Cars
● Item Introduction
Green passenger and baggage cars join the RhB lineup as individually available models!
The EW I passenger cars were introduced in the 1960s and remained in their original green livery until around the 1980s. The D4226 baggage car was built in 1980 with an EW II-style body. During the transition to the familiar red livery, mixed green-and-red formations could also be seen.
Pair them with the Ge 6/6-I “Rhaetian Crocodile” (3103-1) or the simultaneously released Ge 4/4-II “Revival Livery” (Green) (3102-5).

113-1500/1000 Series Yokosuka-Sobu Line (JR Version)
● Item Introduction
The 113 Series was a familiar sight on the Yokosuka-Sobu Line, connecting Tokyo with destinations across Kanagawa and Chiba. This release recreates the JR East appearance of the early 1990s, including the distinctive double-deck Green Car SaRo 124.
Combine the sets to recreate a full 15-car formation from this iconic Tokyo-area service.
