Introduced in the 1930s and widely adopted after World War II, mobile homes offered an affordable, practical housing solution during a time of rapid growth and relocation. As highways expanded and industries shifted, they became common in trailer parks, campgrounds, and rural areas, providing flexibility for workers and families alike. Once delivered, these homes were set in place and connected to utilities but could still be relocated as needs changed. The Walthers Cornerstone Mobile Home kit is a great addition to campground, roadside, or residential scenes, and pairs easily with other Cornerstone and SceneMaster accessories to create a realistic, lived-in setting.
