Class I railroads—including Union Pacific, Norfolk Southern, Kansas City Southern, and Montana Rail Link—have made these locomotives iconic through bold and distinctive paint schemes. From Union Pacific’s famous “Heritage” units honoring predecessor railroads, to Norfolk Southern’s commemorative anniversary fleet recognizing veterans, first responders, and essential workers, these locomotives tell powerful stories that resonate with railfans and collectors alike.

Broadway Limited Imports third production run brings back popular, fan-favorite paint schemes such as BNSF, while introducing exciting new additions including Canadian National, the EMD Demonstrator, and Union Pacific’s Missouri Pacific Heritage Unit #1982. Headlining this release are Norfolk Southern’s striking “Atlanta” and “Birmingham” units from the celebrated “Landmark Series”—a group of locomotives specially painted to honor the communities the railroad proudly serves. These highly anticipated schemes have never before been offered in HO scale, and Broadway Limited is thrilled to bring them to market for the very first time.

Paragon4 models are fully equipped with synchronized sound, operating smoke, DCC compatibility, and built-in GoPack capacitors for smooth, uninterrupted performance. For those who prefer a quieter, more customizable option, Broadway Limited Imports Stealth Series models offer No-Sound / DCC-Ready operation on DC straight out of the box—perfect for hobbyists who want to install their own decoder. All models include directional front and rear lighting, with additional lighting features dependent on the decoder selected.

The BNSF SD70ACe is one of the most recognizable locomotives on the modern railroad — and one of the most requested in Broadway Limited Imports lineup. BNSF's bold swoosh paint scheme has made these units instantly iconic, and this production run brings back two of the most popular road numbers. The Paragon4 version is loaded with synchronized EMD diesel sound, user-adjustable operating smoke, and built-in GoPack capacitors that keep performance steady across every inch of track. DCC and DC compatible straight out of the box.
