North American Railcar Corporation reintroduces the long-anticipated 4,000 cu. ft. coal gondolas in HO and N scale. These rugged 100-ton workhorses hauled coal across Western Canada from the 1970s to the present day. Truly Canadian, they were built by multiple Canadian manufacturers (Hawker Siddeley, Marine Industries, National Steel Car & Transcona Shops)  and are offered in five distinct prototype variations, capturing the subtle differences that defined the fleet. Available in a wide range of road names, each model features accurate body details, detailed underframes, and semi-scale metal wheels- bringing the backbone of Western Canadian coal service to your layout.
