The Amtrak Viewliner II is the latest generation of single-level passenger cars designed for long-distance travel on the Eastern U.S. routes. Built by CAF USA, these modern railcars feature enhanced amenities, improved energy efficiency, and a sleek stainless-steel exterior that pays homage to classic streamliners. The Viewliner II fleet includes sleepers, diners, baggage cars, and crew dorms, offering passengers a more comfortable and contemporary travel experience. Notable upgrades include improved climate control, LED lighting, accessible restrooms, and updated sleeping accommodations with private bathrooms in the sleeper cars.
