Two years ago, on August 11, 2007 Pacific Western Rail Systems turned on the "Porters" Extranet.  It was a bold leap into the uncharted waters of online merchandising.  We knew from the experience telephone marketing that what the model railroader really wanted was a totally new, sophisticated but easy to use tool to acquire his model railroad toys and be able to keep up with the growing trend of "pre-announcing" new products. PWRS invested the better part of half a million dollars to develop this unique program.
