Dear N Scalers: Recently on a trip we came acress a store that had some older, long out of print, N Scale Kato items. Many of these items we have been asked for in the past, and have been long sold out.

    Our first thought was to let as many of you know what we found. But please remember we only have access to a limited quantity of any of these items.

    So here is a list of what we picked up:

• Kato - N Scale - RS-2 - Canadian Pacific (Script) # 8401 (Only 4 left)

•  You will notice a 2-6-0 Mogul Steam Locomotive - Canadian Pacific, only one is available! Sorry (Sold out now)

• F3 A Unit/ B Unit Two Pack D&RGW # 5521/ 5522 (Gold & silver 4 stripe)(used with Kato 381-1761101) and a F3 A Unit Denver & Rio Grande Western # 5524 (Gold & Silver 4 Stripe)(used with Kato 381-1060303). This will allow anyone trying to do a Zephyr to get the complete A-B-A set. We have had many customers looking for this set in the past. We only have one A-B-A sets available.

• F3 A Unit/ B Unit Two Pack Santa Fe # 21/ 21B (Red/Silver)(Only Sold with 381-1761102) and F3 A Unit Santa Fe # 21C (Red & Silver)(Only Sold with 381-1060304) 381-1761102 As many of you are aware Kato is releasing the new Passenger set soon. They will re-release the F3's but this is the original set Kato produced with sequential road numbers 21A, 21B, and 21C! We only have 2 A-B-A sets available.

• Kato - N Scale - F3B (Phase II) - Canadian National (Sargent Stripe) # 9004. This B unit was originally releaes by Kato in the early 1990's! We were very surprised to find these. For those of you who model CN and Via Rail (remember Rapido is bringing out Via Rail and CN Passenger Equipment now) these would make an excellant addition. Sorry we only have 4 of them available.

• Kato SD40-2 Early W/Dym Brk UP 3220 and Kato SD40-2 Early W/Dym Brk UP 3242. Now all of you may remember when Kato did their original release of easly SD40-2's about 9 or 10 years ago there was a huge shortage. We were surpised to find these available. We only have 2 of the second road number and one copy of the first. If you model UP and missed this release make sure you jump on these fast.

• Kato - N Scale - SD40-2 - Canadian National/IC Reporting Numbers - Road Number 6256, these originally came out with two road numbers. We and Kato have been sold out for some time. We were only able to get three of the one road number. If you want we could change a road number for you but we are sure these will go quickly as we have had a number of requests over the past year.

• We found some Trainman (Atlas) - N scale - 70 Ton Ore Cars - Canadian National with road numbers #343003 and #343041 about 18 in all. We have sold huge quantities of these ore cars over the years and we can remember a number of dissapointed customers who couldn't get any more over the past few months.

• And Last, we found some Trainman (Atlas) - N scale - 70 Ton Ore Car - Canadian Pacific #377222 (sorry Sold Out).

We found a number of other out of print items in N scale and HO. We will post them in the coming weeks as time permits.
