North American Railcar Corporation unveiled 3 more versions of the Hawker Siddeley 4450 cuft covered hopper at the NMRA show in Hartford last weekend. These models are unique in that the brake lines (applied separately- not molded to the sill) actuall come through the bottom sill at one end and run along the outside of the car to the other end where the go back through the sill.

In addition to the unique brake configuration there are four round hatches on the roof. The cars will be of the same ultra high level of detailing as the Hawker Siddeley grain hoppers with MicroTrains trucks and couplers.
