Pre-Painted 33-inch Wheelsets Nickel-Plated, Insulated & Painted (12 Sets)
Another INNOVATION from MOLOCO!
We heard our customers wanting a Nickel-Plated wheelset, but we just didn't want to produce just a plain old nickel wheelset. We know that our high fidelity customers will want to paint them, so we took the "middle-man" out of the situation and had them pre-painted a dark brown/rust, ready for trucks as is or you can add some additional weathering with powders or paint.
The paint is baked onto the wheelsets for more durability than wet paint. With only the treads being exposed with the nickel finish. Just the real ones.
PLEASE NOTE: the paint finish is durable but not indestructible.
Our PRE-PAINTED 33-inch SEMI-SCALE 0.088" width tread wheelsets with back contour are insulated and are nickel-plated. They are precision CNC-machined brass wheelsets that can be used universally with our trucks and others. The axle length is 1.005". Use them as replacements to get a very prototypical tread and contour in all types of cars.
70t National C-1 RB Trucks With Wheelsets Contoured Semi-Scale Tread (Pair)
This pair of trucks replicates the 70-ton Barber design produced with solid bearing wheelsets. This offering comes with SEMI-SCALE 0.088" width tread wheelsets with back contour, separate brake beams, washes and screws.
Southern Pacific, Great Northern and others used this type of truck.
Holder Extensions Plus Rubber Air Hoses (8 Pairs)
This is 8 pairs set of Holder Extensions (4 long 4 short) plus rubber air hoses. See the two versions assembled. These are one of those must have items to make your hose look even more realistic. The Santoprene will not chalk and break down or lose elasticity over time since they are a thermoplastic not a thermoset (vulcanized) rubber.
Uncoupling Lever - Stanray Style #5 (4 Pairs)
A four (4) pair Uncoupling Lever for cushioned cars in the Stanray Style #5 kit. Part of the kit includes multiple attachments in ABS that work well with etched brass parts.
Can be adapted and added to all types of cars.
