Mission Models water-based acrylic paints are ideal for model railroading, military models, automobile models and more.
Colors are available for weathering and special effects as well. Fine arts grade paints feature organic pigments and materials and are supplied airbrush ready. Paints are also brushable - add Polyurethane Intermix to increase working time if needed. Pigments in these paints will settle in the bottle, simply shake or mix before use.
Recommended application for airbrush is to spray at 10-15psi at 2-3" away from the model - application from further away may yield a dry coat with poor adhesion. Additionally, always apply Mission Models primer before applying the final color coat.
Always test on similar materials before applying to models. If you find the paint requires thinning, use no more than 10% thinner, using ONLY Mission Models paint thinner - do not use alternative thinners. You may also add Mission Models Polyurethane Intermix to increase airbrush paint flow and paint adhesion. Paint may be oversprayed with another color when dry to the touch, but the paint is not completely dry for 12 hours.
