Tangent Covered Hoppers Now Available from PWRS - PS-2CD 4000

The earliest PS-2CD 4000 Hoppers were delivered from Pullman-Standard's Butler, PA manufacturing plant in March 1962, painted in NKP black. Pullman built roughly 2,000 copies of the PS-2CD 4000, with only minor detail and appliance changes along the way. The Tangent Scale Models replica will cover virtually all PS-2CD 4000 production changes through the 1962 to 1964 period

The Tangent Scale Models replicas include many distinctive features of the prototype, including “see-through” running boards and crossover platforms, round hatches with clasps, outlet gates, “holes” in the underframe between the bays, etc. Tangent Scale Models has even included roadname-specific details, such as pneumatic outlet gates mounted on the bays.
