Panda Kuroshio “Smile Adventure Train” Top Car

Of note on this announcement is the #4880-9 Panda Kuroshio “Smile Adventure Train” lead car! This specially painted car was the head car from the 10-1506 “Adventure World” 287 Special Train, and is designed to be a fun display model with its whimsical panda themed paint scheme. It was originally sold exclusively through Hobby Center Tokyo but is now available for export for a limited time and in limited quantity and comes packaged in a fun and colorful special cardboard case.
Tobu Tojo Line 50070

Tobu 50070 is manufactured similar to the Tobu Tojo 5000, for surface operation, and the 50050 of Sky Tree (Isezaki) Line for subway operation. This adopts the next generation of aluminum train systems, the “A-train,” developed by the manufacturer, Hitachi Seisakusho. The Tobu Tojo Line 50070 debuted in 2004 with a smooth aluminum body, shiny orange block patterns on the sides, and a simple and clear cut cab design. The train is entirely new from the previous designs. Even after 10 years since its debut, the charm of the train still remains today.
Series 20 Sleeping Car Train

Series 20 debuted in 1958 for the limited express “Asakaze” (Morning Breeze). It was the first passenger train that was composed of the same design, model, and color passenger cars in Japan. It was such an epochmaking train, it was dubbed the name the “travelling hotel”. The appearance consists of a round-car end and is composed of curved surfaces and a round body. The three horizontal cream color lines painted on the body represent the modernization of the Japanese railway system. It won fame as a harbinger of limited express sleeping car trains.
19G Container

UR19 Container

The 19G Container belongs to JR Freight and was manufactured between 2001 to 2018. The doors on both the end and the side can be opened on the real container. It is now used across Japan, following 19D container. The UR19A container is decorated with a brilliant pink band painted with cherry blossoms. It is design to commemorate the 2019 Rugby World Cup held in Japan and to commemorate the newly appointed emperor. The real container can be opened on both sides and is equipped with a cargo lashing rings inside.
