Overland Brass Union Pacific Brass Heritage Locomotive Set (Very Rare)

  

Dear N Scalers, one of our customers bought two complete sets of the very limited run of the N Scale Brass Union Pacific Heritage SD70Ace Lcomotive's. He has one set with DCC Decoders installed and one with out. He only wants to sell one of the sets.

Dear Pacific Western Rail – Per our telephone conversation, I have two Overland Brass sets of six brass Union Pacific EMD SD70ACe heritage paint scheme locomotives in N-Scale to sell and would appreciate it if you would pass this information on to PWRS customers.

   

The following is more detail about these sets:

Overland Brass - Heritage Series - N Scale - UP SD70ACe Six Locomotive Set includes BA-1150, BA-1151, BA-1152, BA-1153, BA-1154, BA1155

·         Only 35 of these Overland Brass Limited Edition Sets containing all six Union Pacific SD70ACe Locomotives in Heritage Paint Schemes were produced

·         The locomotives are factory painted and lettered with working headlights/taillights and come packaged in a special presentation box.

·         The set contains the following six Union Pacific SD70ACe locomotives:

  

-          BA-1150: UP-MP #UP1982

-          BA-1151: UP-WP #UP1983

-          BA-1152: UP-MKT #UP 1988

-          BA-1153: UP-C&NW #UP1995

-          BA-1154: UP-D&RGW #UP1989

-          BA-1155: UP-SP #UP1996

 

·         These sets are long ago sold out at Overland and originally retailed for $3,960.00!

  

     Both sets are brand new and in the original boxes and packaging.

 

• Set without Digitrax decoders installed:  One of the sets is exactly as received (in fact has never been opened and the locos have not been unwrapped from their original packaging).  I would be willing to sell this set for $3,275 (17.5% off original retail price).

• Set with Digitrax decoders installed:  The other set has Digitrax DZ143 decoders installed in each loco.  Note that because of the design of the engines, I did not make the headlights/taillights controllable by the decoder (it would have been a nightmare to totally re-engineer the lighting systems) so the headlights and taillights are on at all times utilizing the original Overland lighting components.  Note that this set has only been removed from the box and individual engine wrapping to install and test the decoders – it is otherwise brand new.  I would be willing to sell this set for $3,575 ($300 more than the non-decoder set – or $50/engine – to reflect the cost of the decoder and labor required to install them).
