Athearn has announced two new sets of products for N Scale in the month of September, due early in the new year, 2008. They're doing a new series of Ethanol tank cars, singles; and they're doing weathered 57 foot Mechanical Reefers.

Athearn N Scale is pleased to announce factory-weathered N Scale 57 foot mechanical reefers. Under the direction of some of the finest painters in the industry, these cars will be weathered to accurately replicate typical railroad use. Each car will be slightly different, because of the hand-applied nature of weathering. Available in limited quantities (based on existing stock of these road names and body types), these unique cars are sure to be a big hit with modelers. alll of these cars have the incredible detail that is typical of Athearn N Scale.
