It’s a new year! To celebrate Kato has some new track item announcements for you!

Arriving in the next few months, Kato will be receiving new additions to their N Gauge Unitrack line! Arriving at the end of February will be the following items:

·         20-063 – Illuminated Bumper Track A, 2 5/6” (66mm)

·         20-067 – Illuminated Bumper Track C, 2 5/6” (66mm)

These bumpers operate off track power and require no additional wiring! This makes them perfect for modelers with drop tracks or yards with multiple tracks since it will allow them at a glance to see what tracks are powered. Of course, they are compatible with DCC as well!

Then coming this spring, Kato will also be receiving the following new item:

·         20-027-1 – Crossing Gate and Re-Railing Track, 4 7/8” (124mm)

This “dummy” crossing gate will come with a re-railing track (the same that comes in 20-026) and a pair of ramps with North American colored gates (that can be posed open, closed, or anywhere in between). It can be expanded to multiple track widths by combining it with the 20-026 new re-railing track!

All of the above new track items will be standard additions to the Kato UNITRACK lineup and can be ordered through your distributor!

To everyone’s excitement and anticipation, Kato will also be re-releasing the Automatic Crossing Gate! (PWRS has a few in stock now)

20-652-1 – North American Style Automatic Crossing Gate

The Kato North American Style Automatic Crossing Gate brings a common signal to your Unitrack layout. Its supplied track is a standard length of 4-7/8" 124mm and the set includes two sloped street ramp pieces with painted double yellow lines, two 2-7/16" 62mm sensor tracks with sensor cables, a complete crossing gate assembly with lights, gates, speakers and track. A sticker sheet, 5V 1.2A power supply plug, power supply cable and English language instruction manual are also supplied in the crossing gate set.

The first delivery of the crossing gate will arrive in March 2018, while a second delivery will arrive at the end of April, so be sure to get your preorders in early for a first delivery reservation! All orders will be taken on a “first come, first serve” basis. All extension and wires are in stock and ready for shipment. These items will go fast, so be sure to reserve yours today before they’re gone!
