Overland Announces a New Run of Current UP GE "Evolution Series" Locomotives

Overland Models is pleased to announce the addition of a Union Pacific C45ACCTE diesel locomotive to our GEVO production planned for delivery to modelers in 2010.
This series of locomotives is part of a 125-unit order of C45ACCTE locomotives that will be delivered to Union Pacific in 2009. This production run features a nose door that is moved to the left side of the nose headlight and a slight modification in the angle of the steel plates in the nose. This series also features our first UP C45ACCTE production with the cab that has 4 side windows like those used on the BNSF units. On the rear end of the locomotive, the tail light assembly is now placed horizontally as opposed to earlier productions which were vertical.

This C45ACCTE, as presented by Overland Models, Inc in HO-scale brass, will be factory-painted, lettered and have directional headlights and ditch lights. It will have the forward UP shield, Building America lettering, and the large US flag. All models will come with a factory-installed NMRA-compliant DCC plug that enables modelers to install a digital decoder of their choice. Kadee #58 couplers will be also be installed to add to the realistic detail of the model locomotive.
