There are 4 road numbers for most of these railroads with 6 road numbers for Illinois Central and only 2 road numbers for the Illinois Central & Gulf.  Just like our President, these are free roaming in the Chicago and Mid-West.  Mix and match would make an interesting and colorful consist.  In Brunswick where there are 17 freight yard lines, and gondolas travel back and forth between the DC area and Chicago with scrap metal and other items.  But those gondolas do not look near as nice as these.  Gondolas are the beaten down members in the freight car society.  They always look as though they were loaded too heavy, beaten up buy the weight of the load.  So enjoy these sparkeling examples and run them on you consist, Harold.  The details show better on the unpainted model below.
