Miller Engineering has come out with two new signs for the month of September, due in October.  They are brilliant as usual, a bit of dazzle to add to your layout, or desk if you have no layout. 

First, they offer one from the past:

For real, they advertised cars with V-8 engines that would take you to "rocket" high speeds.  No doubt they did (some may have the tickets to prove it).  The slogan "V-8 for Rocket Speeds" was an innovation for Oldsmobile and their advertising campaigns went all out with the theme. 

It's still a catchy and attractive attention-getter.

Second, is one most timely for our season and what's been going on in the forest lands of the northwest:
