Tank cars have been around for much of railroading history. Initially, liquids and gases were hauled in bottles, barrels and cans. But as railroads and industry grew, this gave way to purpose built cars. Over the decades the type and size of cars have increased, along with the variety of car types. These 8000 gallon cars were built from the 20's to the 40's with many remaining in use for decades. They were often privately owned and could be seen in a wide variety of paint schemes across North America.
This release includes eleven schemes with multiple road numbers available for each.
