Hoppers have been around for much of railroading. Originally developed from gondolas, they offer ease of loading and unloading. Today, there are many types and sizes of open and covered hoppers carrying many different types of products and materials. These 4 bay cylindrical covered hoppers with round Hatches are often used for the transport of Potash along with other commodities.
