Covered hoppers carry a wide variety of dry goods, from flour to cement. They come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes to meet the needs of the goods being carried. These hoppers were introduced in the late 1950's and ran across the rails of North America for decades after. Operated by a range of different railroads, many cars were repainted over time or sold to other operators, providing a variety of schemes they could be seen in.

The first release of this new models includes an undecorated kit and ten schemes with six road numbers available for each.
