Modeller Writes Book!

Leanne V.E. Braid, a modeller in the British Columbia area, well-known in a good way to us here at Pacific Western Rail Systems, has announced the publication of a book.  To be released in 2010, the title is simply Mileposts, the sub-title is "Milwaukee Road Pacific Extension".  It coveres the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad west of Glenham, South Dakota.

Hundreds of hours of research, maps, and text will cover the time period from the completion of the road in 1908 until its abandonment in 1980.  It is truly for the prototypical modeller.
